Six years ago, the only folks using Camtasia were technical trainers like me who needed a way to record movies of what we were doing on our computers. All of a sudden, new educational possibilities opened up. Students no longer needed to be in the same room as the instructor to see real world examples and demonstrations done on live computers.

When I first got started with Camtasia, I didn’t have anyone to turn to for help. I relied upon the help file, the support forums, and a whole heck of a lot of experimentation. Over the years, I’ve perfected and standardized the way that I record, edit, and produce my videos so that each project comes out faster and better than the one before.
In the last six years, I’ve spent literally thousands of hours creating Camtasia videos for myself and others. As I’ve used Camtasia for recording tutorials, marketing spots, and live events, I’ve literally invented techniques that I’ve never seen anyone else use. And now I’m ready to share them with you.
